A moment of truth has arrived for the Republican conservatives on the Sarasota Conty School Board, especially for School Board members Tim Enos and Robyn Marinelli in the upcoming selection of the Superintendent for the Sarasota County School Board.
Enos and Marinelli
The question now is will Enos and Marinelli join Bridget Ziegler and Karen Rose and select a publicly stated Republican conservative Charles Van Zant as Superintendent, or will they melt under pressure being exerted by liberal Democrats and the local multi-million-dollar Foundations and elect another insider from the Establishment?
These not-for-profit local Foundations promote and finance liberal Democrat candidates for their liberal social cultural agenda, while those who disagre with their agenda are viciously attacked and called right wing extremists. The local Foundations funelled in thousands of dollars to elect Edwards' liberal Democrats handpiced School Board members in the 2020 election.
Enos and Marinelli along with School Board members Bridget Ziegler were elected to join School Board member Karen Rose to depose a Democrat liberal majority on the School Board.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis endorsed them and even showed up a week before the election to endors Sarasota School Board members Ziegler, Marinelli and Enos, as they ran as conservative Republicans against liberal Democrats and were elected by a large margin.
Unfortunately, for those who worked extremely hard to elect conservative Republicans, a few months after getting seated on the School Board, Enos and Marinelli melted under pressure from a group of liberal Democrats led by the lone Democrat on the School Board, Tom Edwards.
Enos and Marinelli cared little in jumping in bed with Edwards to take down a proposal by fellow School Board member Ziegler, which was to begin to put an end to Edwards working from the inside to push a Democrat and LGBTQ agenda.
Edwards made that statement to work within the system to push the LGBTQ agenda at a forum put together by Schurr's, SOS organization in Downtown Sarasota last August.
Rose
Will the four Republican conservatives School Board members follow the example of the New College newly appointed board of directors in the takeover over the liberal college, and not be intimidated by liberal Democrats who are turning our nation into anti-Christian, anti-family nation.
Corcoran
The New College board appointed former Florida State Representative and Florida Secretary of Education, Richard Corcoran to turn New College into the the Hillsdale College of Florida. Despite demonstrations by organizations link to Communists organizations, and the typical attacks by the Sarasota Heald Tribune, Corcoran has successfully followed the agenda headed him by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and operations are moving smoothly.
Back in August Enos and Marinelli failed to follow the New College Board example and became intimidated by demonstrations, the SHT and liberal Demicrats and voted against a proposal submitted by School Board Chairman Ziegler.
Enos and Marinelli voted against an America First movement proposal submitted by Ziegler. A proposal centered on conservative values that emphasize religious freedom, family values
and economic prosperity. A proposal that would begin to set an agenda voted for approval by voters in last School Board election.
This America First agenda was pushed forward by a group of Christian based Republican
conservatives, who selected Ziegler, Enos, Marinelli and Rose to led them in the next two year.

At that School Board meeting on 4/18/23, Edwards and Women of SW Florida founder Sarah Parker had their groomed High School students demonstrate outside Sarasota County School Board meetings promoting a liberal Democrat/LGBTQ agenda to defeat the Vermillion proposal.

ENOS AND MARINELL INTIMIDATED BY TEAM EDWARDS "NOISE"
Being intimidated by liberal Democrat noise, Enos and Marinelli instead of pushing the agenda that voters in the past election voted to be implemented, they voted against the Vermillion proposal submitted by Ziegler.
Enos and Marinelli were run over by radical left-wing agitators groomed by Edwards and Parker, who together with a Save Our Schools (SOS) organization, local Democrats and LGBTQ political operatives are all out to destroy the results of the 2022 Sarasota County School Board election.
Enos and Mainelli need to act as Corcoran and the New College Board and push to the curb the political operative of the local LGBTQ organizations, Edwards, SOS and left wing radical liberal Democrats. They need begin acting like they profess to be ---a strong Republican conservative Christian pro family School Board.
Van Zant is one of four finalists to be superintendent of SarasotaCounty Schools and is a publicly proclaimed Republican Conservative. Van Zant is the candidate that America First grassroots supporters, who led the end of the Democrat liberal Sarasota School Board.
Van Zant was the superintendent for the Clay County School District from 2012 to 2016, and was a school board member in Clay County prior to his time as the district's top administrator. He holds a master's degree in organizational leadership from Regent University and was a finalist for Collier County's superintendent vacancy
Van Zant began his career in the School District of Clay County as a teacher at Wilkinson Junior High. Later he ran for School Board in 1998… a role he held for 14 years.
Van Zant received his B.A. from of theUniversity of Florida. Zant was married to his wife Stephanie in 1994 after graduating from the U.S. Army Officer Candidate School (OCS) and being commissioned as a Second Lieutenant.
Van Zant has 2 sons: Luke (20), a Firefighter/EMT college graduate who will soon join Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department; and Wyatt (16), a junior at Keystone Heights High School.
During his video responses to the board, Van Zant said he was interested in becoming Sarasota's
superintendent because of the "resolve and tenacity" that the current School Board has shown.
"You've demonstrated that you understand what the senior leader of the organization must do, and you understand in your district it's not being done the way you want it," he said.
Van Zant said the biggest issue facing the district was complacency, referencing the strategic
plan and the district's reading numbers as struggling.
EDWARDS ATTACKS VAN ZANT FOR BEING A CONSERVATIVE AND THAT SHOULD "DISQUALIFY HIM"
After the presentation of Van Zant's video submissions to the board at last Monday's workshop, Edwards pointed out Van Zant's self-description as a staunch conservative and said it
should immediately disqualify him from being the district's Superintendent. No, doubt liberals like himself have no problem with liberals or moderates being Superentendent.

By the way, this staunch conservative that Edwards wants disqualified served over 30 years in the Florida Army National Guard. Van Zant holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and has rendered distinguished military service … deploying to combat zones in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. He has received numerous awards and honors including a Bronze Star.

operative. Edwards is former resident of New York where he owned a liquor store.
Edwards led the recent defeat of liberal Democrat School Board members by local conservative
Republicans. Edwards attempt to take on a grassroots Republican conservative organizations
led by Bunnie for control of the Sarasota County School Board was a complete political failure.

Edwards headed up candidate requirement for the local Democrat Party in 2022. Edwards found 6 out of 28 candidates, which include three School Board candidates and a County Commission candidate, Hagen Brody--they all lost.

Edwards and members of Team Edwards are continuing to attack speakers who are Republican conservatives professing a Christian pro family agenda. Those attacks are a continuation of a
planned attack initiated by one of the founders of Save Our Schools, Lisa Schurr during the Vermillion proposal discussions.
Schurr agenda is to make the discussion about the School Superintendent be similar to the Vermillion proposal being a Christian versus an anti-Christian discussion. From the start
of the discussion of the Vermillion proposal, that Schurr tactic of making it an anti-Christian was shamelessly displayed.
CULTURE WAR TURNED INTO A RELIGIOUS WAR
The anti-Christinar hetoric has expanded a biter ongoing culture war into a full-scale religious war. The culture war turning into a religious war has seen members of Mom for Liberty and Moms for America being called religious bigots.

other radical left-wing organizations, like the Party of Socialism and Liberation (PSL) with their bullhorns to cause havoc.

This is who Schurr calls "The Mother Teresa of the Republican Party"
Schurr is a want-a-be local social elitist with a major jealous obsession with Bridget Ziegler,
calling Ziegler "the Mother Teresa of the Republican Party." Thinking that is something to be ashamed of is quite revealing of Schurr's beliefs.
Schurr has recentlye merged in Sarasota as a self-acclaimed expert on local School board matters after spending 10 years in the Soviet Union as a tax consultant---GO FIGURE.
Edwards, Schurr and the other liberal Democrat losers in the last school board election need to listen to former President Barack Obama who is a fellow liberal Democrat. Obama stated,
“elections have consequences."
Obama made that statement eight years ago, at a time when Democrats controlled both the House and the Senate. The incoming President Obama admonished Republicans that elections have consequences.
His words are as true today than they were then, as Republican Conservatives on the Sarasota School Board now had a 4-1 majority with the elections of three Republicans Conservative elected in 2022 to join a Republican Conservative elected in 2020.

For over eight years liberal Democrats controlled the Sarasota School Board with RINO School Board member Jane Goodwin voting with the Liberal Democrats. This time it is the Conservative Republicans who hold the whiphand. That is politics—it is the reality—LIVE WITH THE CONSEQUENCES.
WHO DIVIDED SARASOTA?
Edwards opposed Van Zant by stating, "Our community, as we've all heard multiple times, is divided. And that just brings lightning rod right into the conversation," Edwards said.
Edwards fails to articulate, who was responsible for dividing Sarasota. It began as any political observer could assertain was when the Sarasota Herald Tribune with the assistance of Washington Post reporter Tim Craig coming to Sarasota. The duo made the liberal Democrats the "good guys" and the conservative Republicans the "bad guys.
The Washington Post and SHT agenda was and continues to be -- to vilify a local culture war by
making Sarasta a breeding ground for right wing extremists.

Zac Anderson of the SHT and Craig have ignored that Sarasota is also home to the communist Party of Socialism and Liberation (PSL) and their cronies at Parker's Women of Southwest Florida, who are all documented as left-wing political agitators. No investigating that Women Voices of Southwest Florida is being financed by Save Our Schools (SOS), who are led by Schurr.
The PSL is a publicly known communist organization founded in San Fransisco in 2004 with organizations in over 90 cities in the United Staes.

On 5/6 /22 a Washington Post article written by Craig titled, "As community veers right,
political division divided Sarasota" was followed up by articles from Anderson, which inflamed a confrontation and cultural war between local liberals Democrats and conservatives Republicans.
ANDERSON AND SHT CHASING PROUD BOYS AND GENERAL FLYNN
The SHT led by Anderson followed Craig's lead chasing down Proud Boys at the Hollows in Osprey with General Michael Flynn being their target, but not Edwards and his gang hanging out at Forartyville in Downtown Sarasota.
How about Anderson and Craig chasing down Team Edwards (SOS/LGBTQ/Liberal DEMS) hanging out with those supporting a left-wing agenda at Fogartyville in Downtown Sarasota?

While conservative Republican were called right wing extremists, not reported in the SHT, Washington Post or other liberal media outets was that a mouthpieces of Team Edwards and the SOS Gang, Share Kiser with her vulgar toxic Share Kiser fired up the local Conservatives Republicans with her vulgarity.

What resulted was that grassroots conservative Republicans became "big time" involved in getting their Sarasota County School Board candidates, not simply elected, but through the finish line with an utter blowout victory. Despite what anyone might believe, that is the reality of the
situation.
