WHO WERE PORTER'S ENABLERS?
"Bishop" Henry Porter sexual molested Black children in Sarasota and beyond for 50 years. Meanwhile, the social elite, law enforcement, the media and others turned their heads to the cries of those molested. This is a similar initial reaction to those of us in Boston, who turned our heads to the cover up of the sexual molestation of chidren by Catholic priests.
As the award movie "SPOTLIGHT" documented, only when an outsider from Miami became the publisher of the Boston Globe and had his invetagative journalists indict all of us in Boston in a series of articles, could those of us who had turned our heads to that scandal begin to have closure.
Sarasota will NEVER have closure, until all of those who turned their heads in enabling Porter to molest and rape Black children in Sarasota and beyond come forth and admit their part in enabling Porter to groom Black children for sexual moestation---

With the Porter conviction, the Sarasota Herald Tribune, the Sarasota Observer, SRQ and Sarasota Magazine journalistic credibility is in the gutter with its decades of covering up Black children being molested and raped in Downtown Sarasota. Just about anyone who worked the streets of North Sarasota knew Porter was molesting and raping Black children, but the above ignored it for years.
According to court records how is it that the sexual abuse of local Black children was buried for years by local law enforcement agencies, while the young white Gabby Petito/Brian Laundrie case drew numerous law enforcement agencies with hundreds of law enforcement officers to conclude that case in a few months?

Jacob's is a long time Porter protégé and named his Westccoast Black Theatre Troupe after Porter. Numerous calls to Jacobs have gone unaddressed. Request to Julia Leach, who is the CEO of Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe to speak to Porter have been refused.

Porter's conviction documends that Porter established a school from K-12 in a Downtown Sarasota Church in which Porter groomed Black children for sexual molestation, while Porter was part of the social fiber of Sarasota.
On 6/24/2022 not only was the child sexual predator and self-proclaimed Bishop Henry Porter legally convicted of molesting Black children for decades, so were his social elite enablers also convicted.
In addition, Porter's conviction cannot hide the Sarasota Police Department and FBI botched investigations in 1990 and 2001-2002, which allowed Porter to continue to molest and rape Black children for years.
WATKINS VIDEO LEADS TO PORTERS ARREST
It has become disgracefully apparent that unless Chad Watkins, who was first molested in a hotel room in Daytona Beach at age 15, had he not come forward courageously with his video calling out Porter as sexually molesting him, Porter would not be awaiting being sentenced to life imprisonment.
After Porter was arrested following Watkins' vido, police interviewed more than 20 similar “fact victims”, all boys ages 14 to young adults of various ages who provided statements outlining the abuse by Porter in various locations including on cross-country mission trips and on church-sponsored trips. Prior investigations revealed an anonymous letter that named 40 of Porter’s child sexual abuse victims.

GYMNASTS SUE FBI FOR $1 BILLION FOR FAILING TO PROTECT THEM FROM SEXUAL ABUSE BY TEAM DOCTOR
For example, after those failed investigations Porter continued to molest and rape Black children for years. The local SPD and FBI have acted similar to law enforcement in Michigan, who are being sued by Olympic gymnastics gold medalist Simone Biles and dozens of other women.
The victims say they were sexually assaulted by Larry Nassar and are seeking more than $1 billion from the FBI for failing to stop the now-convicted sports doctor when the agency first received allegations against
him.
Just as there is no dispute that FBI agents in 2015 knew that Nassar was accused of molesting gymnasts, but they failed to act, leaving him free to continue to target young women and girls for more than a year, so did local SPD and FBI know Porter in 1990 and 2001-2002 Porter was molesting Black children.
SHT WRITES ONE ARTICLE BY NEWLY HIRED REPORTER FROM TENNESSEE TO REPORT ON PORTER'S CONVICTION OF MOLESTING AND RAPING BLACK CHILDREN FOR DECADES
Equally disturbing after the five day trial revealing horific sexual molestations of Black children resulting in Porter's conviction on 6/24/2022, one article from a SHT reporter from Tennessee hired six weeks ago. There has ben no follow up of Porter's 50 year moestation of Black children from above mentioned.
Apparently the SHT is more interested in connecting local Sarasota County School Board candidates with the Proud Boys, instead of investigating how Porter operated a K-12 School for decades in Downtown Sarasota grooming Black children for his sexual molestation.
LOCAL MEDIA MORE INTERESTED IN MORICZ WAVING A RAINBOW FLAG THAN WATKINS EXPOSING BLACK CHILDREN BEING SEXUALLY MOLESTED
Why is it the SHT and Sarasota Magazine more interested in giving major coverage to 18 year old High School student Zander Moricz for waving a LGBTQ flag and not having equal acknowlegment to Chadwick Watkins, who courageously came forward to expose,, which led to Porter's conviction?
FELIX DID WHAT SPD AND FBI FAILED TO DO IN 1990 AND 2001-2002
One of few heroes in this scandal is Assistant State's Attorney Ryan Felix. Felix did what Sarasota Police Department and FBI investigators failed to do in 1990 and 2001-2002 investigations.
The Sarasota community should be proud of Felix, who did a GREAT job and worked extremely hard to bring Porter to justice.
Felix did a masterful and brilliant job in presenting the facts of the case. Felix brought respectability back to the local States Attorney office after Porter had made a mockery of the local criminal justice system for over 50 years as he molested a countless number of Black children.
WEST COAST BLACK THEATER NAMED AFTER JACOBS MENTOR-BISHOP HENRY PORTER
The white social elite along with a local media and law enforcement now see Porter's conviction as their end of their Porter problem. They now believe once Porter is sent off to prison everyone will forget that Porter molested Black children for over 50 years.
But, that 50-year-old disgraceful problem and cover-up is staring his enablers directly in their face. Because a few blocks from Porter's West coast Church and School for Human Development is the Westcoast Black Theater. It is named after the 50-year-old molester of countless Black children.
The theater was named after Porter by the founder and artistic director of the theater by Porter's mentor of 30 years, Nate Jacobs.
Jacobs taught at Porter's school where Porter used to groom and molest untold number of Black children. Jacobs traveled with Porter on numerous trips Porter would take with Black children to entertain with them throughout the state and country while molesting those children.
It was testified at Porter's trial that Porter would molest and rape those children after they had entertained audiences.
PORTER HELPED DEDICATE JACOBS WESTCOAST ADDITION
In 2018 Porter helped his protégé dedicate an addition to Westcoast Black Theater as Jacobs patrons look on at the dedication of million-dollar addition to the Westcoast theater.
No one is closer to Porter than Jacobs and no one is more than an enabler to Porter than Jacobs. That is so obvious in an interview that took place less than 2 years before Porter was arrested for sexual molesting Black children.
The interview is disgusting as Porter and Jacobs laugh, sing and reminisce over the years they spent together. The room where the interview took place is the same room used as evidence in the recent trial to convict Porter of molesting a child under 12.
Battie
One of the five individuals seen enjoying Jacobs being interviewed at the location where Porter molested Black children was a protégé of Jacobs and present Sarasota City Commissioner Kyle Battie.
The thousands of contributors of the $millions of dollars to Jacobs West Coast Black Theater, who are the movers and shakers of the Sarasota community now have to face up to the fact they have been supporting a theater name after a molester of Black children for decades.
JACOBS GOES ALONG TO GET ALONG WITH CULTURE ELITE
Jacobs fits very nicely into being a local Black who goes along to get along with the who's who of Sarasota's culture elite.
These social elite folks want to bury the fact that they are a prime example of the local social elite, who in order to exorcise their white quilt now have to face the fact they have been supporting a theater name after a molester of Black children for decades.
PORTER'S SEXUAL MOLESTATION IGNORED
For over 50 years the Yale graduate Porter sexually molested countless Black children in Sarasota, throughout the United States, Europe, Africa and the white social elite who run Sarasota ignored the voices coming from the Black community they patronized.
Despite numerous demands from members of the Black community to take Porter off the streets and the three bogus law enforcement investigations in 1990 and2001-2002 by the Sarasota Police Department and FBI, the self-proclaimed Bishop Porter continued to molest and rape Black children while hanging out with Sarasota's social white elite.
Anyone who walked the streets of Newtown or spent any time in the neighborhoods in North Sarasota over the years, which included local law enforcement, knew Porter was molesting Black children at his Downtown Westcoast Church and School.
What is disgraceful is that law enforcement (SPD and FBI) knew all about what was going on at the Westcoast Church and School and did nothing to stop the child molestation.
PORTER'S WESTCOAST CHURCH AND SCHOOL FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMENT LITTLE MORE THAN A CULT
What was going on at that Westcoast Church was nothing more than a cult with Porter being considered by his followers as the "Hand of God." Porter would state to the members of the Church, if the word did not come from him, it did not come from God.
PORTER GROOMED BLACK CHILDREN FOR SEXUAL MOLESTATION
Members of the Westcoast Church knew Porter was using the school to groom children for his sexual molestation. Some went to law enforcement but received no assistance in taking Porter off the streets. Others left while others stayed and enabled Porter to continue his evilness.
PORTER EXAMPLE OF WHITE SOCIAL ELITE PATRONIZING LOCAL BLACK "LEADERS "
Porter is a prime example of how the white social elite, who control Sarasota financially, culturally and politically have used Blacks like Porter to further their agenda.
Porter was a handsome, articulate, intelligent individual who went along to get along as the white social elite promoted Porter as an example of racial harmony in Sarasota.
Atkins
Jacobs also fits very nicely into being a local Black who goes along to get along with the Sarasota's culture elite. Be loud and forceful like Fredd Atkins, you will be tolerated, but stay in your comfort zone of North Sarasota. If you try to expand your reach politically outside of North Sarasota it is not going to happen.
Observe when Atkins ran for Sarasota County Commission in 2020. The racist Bob Waechter with the assistance of the Sarasota County Commission disenfranchised Atkins and over 8,000 other Black voters.
Good and Mathers
The social white elite along with their Democratic mouthpieces Margaret Good, Kay Mathers, Rita Ferrandino and a few others were nowhere to be seen to voice their disproval of disenfranchising Atkins and over 8,000 Blacks.
Not a penny from the social white elite who pour millions into theater named after a child molester went to Hugh Culverhouse Jr. when Culverhouse's spent over $900,000 in a lawsuit to challenge that outrageous racist act.
MASON ANOTHER GO ALONG LIKE PORTER AND JACOBS GET ALONG FOR WHITE CULTURE ELITE
Carolyn Mason is Black who was the opposite of Atkins -- a go along get along Black--who unlike Atkins did not turn down the white elite request to become a Republican. Mason became a go along to get along Republican and was allowed out of North Sarasota to become a Sarasota County Commissioner.
OLDHAM GIVES VOICE TO WHITE ELITE AT SELBY GARDENS WHILE PROMOTING RACIST GENTRIFICATION OF BLACKE NEIGHBORHOODS ON HR BUS TOURS
Be a attractive Black woman who is articulate, intelligent and willing to go along with the white elite culture elite at Selby Gardens promoting their Tara on the Bay like Vicky Oldham and you are awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in grant money to put a Black museum together and drive a tour bus through North Sarasota.
SHAW DEPOSED FOR NOT GOING ALONG TO GET ALONG
Former Sarasota City Commissioner Willie Shaw was tolerated by the white social elite as long as he did not rock their boat. When Shaw called out major local restaurateur Klauber and the elite white folks who wanted to turn Selby Gardens into a venue for galas for the Chablis and brie white folks, Shaw was deposed as a City Commissioner.
JACOB'S PROTÉGÉ BATTIE REPLACES SHAW
Shaw was replaced by a totally inarticulate obtuse individual who has trouble walking and chewing gum at the same. Kyle Battie. Battie is a major go along get along guy who when not making a fool out of himself at City Commission meetings is seen hanging out at Downtown Sarasota bars getting drunk and acting the fool.
Battie is a Jacobs's protégé who had one of Jacobs' Westcoast Black theater patron finance Battie's Hip/Hopping/Happening local T.V show.
