THE NEAL/BERUFF LED JUNTA KICKS ZIEGLER OFF THEIR ISLAND

The Sarasota Phoenix team is the last guardians in Sarasota of the vital fourth estate. While the rest of local, mainstream media outlets have been overtaken by profit driven directives, the Sarasota Phoenix is the only local media outlet laying bare for all to see how Sarasota local government is operating like a Latin American Junta.
IS THE DINO BRODY THE JUNTA'S PICK TO SUCEED ZIEGLER
On 9/22/2021 the Sarasota Phoenix wrote "Rumors are beginning to circulate that in 2022, Sarasota City Commissioner DINO (Democrat in Name Only) Hagen Brody is about to take on Sarasota County Commissioner Christian Ziegler in Sarasota County District 2.
The Sarasota Phoenix went on to write, "Reportedly the "Pay to Play" developer and longtime local political fossil Pat Neal, who runs a local corrupt Junta along with Carlos Beruff, are indicating privately that they have little problem seeing DINO Brody replacing the Proud Boy right wing nut case Ziegler."
Well, it appears the ruling Junta of Manatee and Sarasota County led by the political fossil Neal and the Charlie Crist "stooge" Beruff, who have every local politician stuffed in their pockets, has decided that the right-wing nut case Ziegler is no longer their choice to continue as a Sarasota County Commissioner in District 2.
It made no difference to Neal and the Junta that Ziegler is the Republican State Committeeman for Sarasota County, or he is the Vice Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) or his wife, Bridget Ziegler is a Sarasota County School Board member---Ziegler must go.
ZIEGLER CONSIDERED TAKING ON NEUNDER IN DISTRICT 4
Ziegler, knowing he has problems in District 2, has explored moving to District 4 to take on fellow Republican Joe Neunder, who Ziegler feels he can beat. Unfortunately for Ziegler, Neunder has already got the endorsement of Neal and Junta with over $60,000 in campaign contributions stuffed in Neunder's pocket from the Junta and "friends" of the Junta.
In addition, Ziegler put out Brody's "dirty laundry, which included Brody's ties to Neal, which could be political suicide for Ziegler.
The first questions in the poll asked who they would vote for: Fredd Atkins, Cathy Antunes or Hagen Brody. Ziegler then put the hammer down on his likely opponent: Brody
"Lastly one of these people, HAGEN BRODY, has been involved in some public controversies including having to resign from his Prosecutor job at the States Attorney office, allegations of creating a hostile work environment with City Hall workers, and being personally involved with a Republican lobbyist who works to get the County to pass big development projects."

Maryann Grigic is the lobbyist referred to in the push poll "who works to get the County to pass big development projects" and who Brody is "personally involved with". Grigic, who is Brody's live-in girlfriend, worked for Neal Communities for over eight years then with Neal's financial assistance Grgic created her own consultant company, Keypoint Commnication.
The questions continued in the poll; "How does the information effect your opinion of HAGEN BRODY running for County Commission--would you NEVER vote for, would you PROBABLY NOT vote for him, or does it not impact your vote?"

ZIEGLER'S IMAGE AS A PROUD BOY NUT CASE WITH A 'BLASTER" IS A PROMBLEM WITH JUNTA
With Ziegler hanging out with the Proud Boys and running around with his Maxim Defense PDX 5.56 has become a problem for Neal, Beruff, and fellow Junta members---Rex Jensen, Randy Benderson and Gary Kompothecras.
Selling homes, building shopping centers and now hotels to folks "flocking" to Florida is what these crooks desire, not some nut case running with Proud Boys and his "blaster" scarring off those newly arrivals and those already here.
Those folks "flocking" to Florida have a problem with a County Commissioner running around with a machine gun and hanging out with the Proud Boys and will bypass the Sarasota area for destinations like Naples.
No problem having a gun, but don’t run around bragging about it saying you are "going to outgun any thug, criminal or lunatic." There are too many running Sarasota, including friends of the Junta

The Junta, especially the political fossil and anti -Trumpster Neal, frowned on Ziegler running around Florida and Georgia during the last months of the 2020 election cycle promoting Trump and his candidates for political office, while moonlighting as a Sarasota County Commissioner.
According to Ziegler and News Channel 8 in Tampa -- Ziegler was right in the middle of these groups on 1/6/2020.
Then there was Ziegler and his "side kick", Florida State Senator Joe Gruters putting together three busloads of folks going to Washington D.C. on 1/6/2021 for the Trump rally, which turned into a public relations disaster to say the least.
In addition, there is a problem because Ziegler picks up his check for his daytime job while bragging on Facebook how he is making "big money" with his consultant company, Microtargeted Media.
Ziegler was also involved for months away from his duties at the County Commission during the last 2020 election cycle, as the vice chairman of the Republican Party of Florida (FROP). Zigler spent a month in Georga campaigning for candidates. This has even annoyed his fellow County Commissioners.
Neal and the Junta's major concerns at the School Board are lower impact fees coming from the School Board members and the School Board promoting to build new schools in Neal Communities, Jensen Lakewood Ranch and for homes in Beruff's Medallion new home developments.
Neal and the Junta could less about MOMS FOR LIBRTY or if critical race theory (CRT) is being taught in the schools or if transgenders are going into boys or girls' bathrooms. They want a school Board that be like it was before Eric "The Prince of Dirty Dark PAC Money "and the Ziegler's created chaos at the local Sarasota School Board meetings.

JUNTA MADE BAD CHOICE IN 2017 WITH ZIEGLER
ZIEGLER'S DUTIES AT DEALERS UNITED WAS OTHER THAN TO DRINK BEER AND PARTY WAS TO ELECT CANDIDATES FOR "PAY TO PLAY" DEVELOPERS
Neal and the Junta should have known Ziegler was not a good fit for the Sarasota County Commission before they handpicked him to be a County Commissioner in 2017. For example, Ziegler's jobs before being a County Commissioner was being a errand boy for U.S Congressman Vern Buchanan, a political operative for Jessie Biter and Chief Operating Officer (COO) for DEALERS UNITED.
Ziegler stated his last job before becoming a County Commissioner was being a COO for Jessie Bitter and Matt Buchanan's DEALERS UNITED Company. This was a joke. Here are a couple of pictures above of Ziegler working as the COO for DEALERS UNITED in Biter's downtown Sarasota office.
As the Sarasota Phoenix recently reported, the leading candidate to replace Ziegler will be the Junta's favorite Democrat, Sarasota City Commission Hagen Brody.
Brody is a Sarasota City Commissioner with strong ties to the Argus Foundation, the Sarasota County Chamber of Commerce and the Gulf Coast Builders Exchange (GCBX), whose members are all promoters of the Junta running Sarasota County government.
Brody's close association with the leading member of Argus, Joel Schleicher, was well documented in various articles in the Sarasota Phoenix.
Shaw's defeat by present Sarasota City Commissioner Kyle Battie led to Brody being elected the ceremonial Mayor of the City Sarasota in 2020.
