SARASOTA FOUNDATION LEADERSHIP OUT TO OUST BRIDGET ZIEGLER UNDER MATHERS/EDWARDS/GOODWIN LEADERSHIP
Mathers
Leaders of local multimillion dollar foundations have joined together with liberal political organizations led by local Democrat political operative Kay Mathers and Sarasota County School Board members Tom Edwards and Jane Goodwin to take out their fellow School Board member Bridget Ziegler.
Edwards
Mathers joined the Democrat Party in 2018 and proceeded to get heavily involved with Margret Good's political career and local Democrat politics. Mathers is a local political operative who is the Florida director of Ruth's List, which recruits Democrat liberal women candidates. Edwards is a Sarasota County School Board member moonlighting as a local Democrat political operative.
Goodwin, who made the above quote to Sarasota Herald Tribune reporter Ryan McKinnon concerning Ziegler supporters is a local hack politician who in order to get elected over the years to the School Board in a heavily Republican area ran as a Republican for the School Board. After stating she would not run for re-election, Goodwin came out of the closet and became a Democrat attacking Ziegler.
Those various million dollar local foundations and other liberal social cultural elites are partnering to take out Ziegler and others to take control the Sarasota County School Board for their financial benefit.
As mentioned previously, Mathers has taken advantage of her ties with Girls Inc as a past president and communication director of the organization to network with various influential high dollar leaders of multimillion dollar local foundations to recruit those leaders to take out Ziegler.
For example, the following have contributed to the campaign of Mathers and Edwards handpicked opponent to defeat Ziegler for her re-election to the Sarasota County School Board, Dawnyelle Singleton.
Chalmers
Alica Chalmers---Manatee Community Foundation hired Lakewood Ranch resident Alicia Chalmers as manager of donor engagement. Chalmers was a former consultant with The Patterson Foundation. Chambers has contributed 3, $1,000 contributions to Singleton.
Annis
John Annis formerly worked for the Community Foundation of Sarasota County and is now the Senior Vice President of the Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation. Annis has given a $1,000 contribution to Singleton.

Terrie Hansen is the President and CEO of the Charles and Margery Barancik Foundation of Sarasota. Hansen is the former CEO of the Gulf Coast Community Foundation. Hansen has given a $1,000 contribution to Singleton.
ZIEGLER A THREAT TO LOCAL WHITE SOCIAL LIBERAL ELITE WHO CONTROL FINANCIAL AND POLITICAL POWER IN SARASOTA
Ziegler has become an outspoken voice of young mothers speaking out concerned how the liberal social cultural elite control public schools for their financial gain. Ziegler supporters have become concerned about how local foundations influnce and control Sarasota County School Board policies and procedures.
SARASOTA'S SOCIAL CULTURAL ELITE PROMOTED PORTER
Over the years these same social cultural elite were supporters of the self-proclaimed Bishop Henry Porter's Westcoast Church and School for Human Development. Porter was convicted on 6/24/20022 of molesting Black children, who he groomed for sexual assault at his Westcoast School for Human Development in Downtown Sarasota.

These same local social cultural elite are supporters of the Westcoast Black Theatre named after Porter, whose founder and Artistic Director Nate Jacobs has been a Porter protege for over 30 years.
SHAW VOTED OFF THE WHITE SOCIA CULTURAL ELITE ISLAND

Token Blacks have been allowed into the circle but they know not to rock the boat and get "uppity." Former Sarasota City Commissioner Willie Shaw voted against the expansion of the white elite enclave on the Bay, Selby "Tari" Gardens and he was deposed.
Shaw was replaced by Kyle Battie, who has given clear indications to go along to get along with the white elite that had him elected to the City Commission.
Usually, the white social elite do not dirty their hands in handpicking the politicians running the various political offices. They usually leave that up to "Pay to Play" gangster developers like Pat Neal, Rex Jensen, Carlos Beruff, Gary Kompothecras and recently Randy Benderson.
These gangsters hire criminal political operatives like Bob Waechter to essentially run the campaigns of the political hacks from judges down to Charter Review members on the County level.

In the City of Sarasota political scene, a trio of Gabriel Hament, George Thurlow and Ed James III with strong connections to LGBTQ community are the political operatives who run city elections campaigns for the white social cultural liberal elite and their "fellow travelers." Sarasota City Commissioner Hagen Brody moonlights as a political operative with the above trio.
WHAT IS BEING TAUGHT IN SARASOTA PUBLIC SCHOOLS TURN SARASOTA SCHOOL BOARD RACES PARTISIAN
For those who ran Sarasota financially and culturally in the past, no one really paid attention to the Sarasota County School Board. The School Board members went along for low impact fees for "Pay to Play" developers like Neal and contractors like David Sessions of Willis Smith Construction and other contractors and sub-contractors continued to make millions building schools and other infrastructure needs.
The local teacher's union, the SCTA, Sarasota Classified Teachers Association under the leadership of Barry Dubin and Pat Gardner who answered to no higher authority other than "Pay to Play" gangster developers kept the teachers under control, as they padded their public salaries ponying up to the public trough.
The atmosphere has now changed at the School Board as Democrat and Republican partisan politics along with conservative and liberal culture views have begun to dominate the scene.
Conservative moms and other conservatives concerned about what is being taught in their public schools and how a select few "Pay to Play" insiders are making $millons have shown up in a very vocal manner. They have become for the most part members of the nationwide Moms for Liberty organization.
Local liberal Democrat women for the most part from liberal northern states have come forth also in a very vocal manner with their views how local public schools are managed.
BRIDGET ZIEGLER MAJOR TARGET OF LIBERAL DEMOCRATS
Bridget Ziegler is the major target of the liberal Democrats, which now includes the white social elite who are obsessed to take out Ziegler on Election Day. She being a leading face of conservative women and being the wife of the very controversial conservative Christian Ziegler, who is a Sarasota County Commissioner and vice chairman of the Republican Party of Florida makes her their target,
MATHERS/EDWARDS/GOODWIN STRATEGY FAILS
A strategy put together by Mathers and Edwards to connect Bridget Ziegler in with Christian Ziegler as a conservative zealot have been a failure. Ziegler has continued to exhibit a sense of dignity and a measured demeanor, as she articulates her conservative viewpoints on a state and national scene.

Ziegler has become a major problem for local Democrats and now for statewide and national Democrats. Ziegler has become what model Democrat women would like to portray to be -- strong articulate woman with a responsible private sector job, a wife and a mother of beautiful young children while serving as a responsible public official.
Other than Mathers and Edwards, the two-leading antagonist of Bridget Ziegler are Cathy Antunes and Schurr.
Antunes
Antunes is a former unsuccessful Sarasota County Commission candidate and former pharmaceutical salesperson. Antunes who is married to one of Sarasota's leading medical doctors' slings arrows at the Ziegler's from her high-end condo in the exclusive Golden Point enclave overlooking Sarasota Bay.
Antunes hosts a local radio show called the Detail on WSLR located at Fogartyville, which is the gathering venue of local liberal Democrats in Downtown Sarasota.
Antunes takes aim at the Ziegler's on a near daily basis from her perch at Fogartville. Antunes has been quoting as saying, “There is a culture that the Ziegler's have fostered that puts party over country, party over community and is all just about winning and they don’t care how they win. If you don’t call these people out where they live, it just spreads.”
Christian Ziegler answered back, "Antunes and her allies are just gadflies who are unfairly targeting my family."
Bridget Ziegler, who helped DeSantis shape his “parental rights” agenda, stated she wears her values “on her sleeve” and won’t be bullied by the attacks on her character or credibility.
“They spend all of their time on keyboards or Twitter, I am actually doing work,” said Ziegler, a mother of three who joined the school board in 2014. “I got thick skin, and skin like leather, so it doesn’t deter me."
Schurr
Schurr, is one of local liberal Democrat women attacking the Ziegler's. Schurr is the most vocal stating, “Our message will be, ‘this man doesn’t give a damn about his constituents, and he doesn’t represent all of the people" Schurr said of a potential Democratic campaign against Christian Ziegler.
Schurr's bombastic approach gained the attention of a select group of Ziegler's antagonists, while she and her husband have contributed 2, $1,000 contributions to Bridget Ziegler's opponent.
Schurr is among other Ziegler's liberal foes, who helped in bringing Washington Post reporter Tim Craig to Sarasota to write the highly critical article on the Ziegler's.
Schurr in her frenzy to defeat Ziegler helped formed the Support Our Schools organization, which unfortunately for Schurr's ego has failed in gaining the national attention as Ziegler's Moms for Liberty has. SOS has a difficulty filling a phone booth.
Schurr lack of grassroots support has not failed her in bringing Craig to Sarasota to write the highly critical article on the Ziegler's. In addition, the Sarasota Herald Tribune has folowed up on the Post hit piece on Zieglers with critical articles on Ziegler and her supporters.
The SHT articles critical of Ziegler and her supporters have been written by a recentl arrival to Sarasota and recent graduaute of the University of Florida Shool of Jurnalism, Steven Walker.

Walker's U of F Dean of Journalism was Diane McFarlin, who was the publisher of the SHT when Porter was molesting Black children at his church and school. Porter's church and school was few blocks away from the SHT building on Main Street where Porter would entertain in front of on cerian select days.
