MEDICAL FREEDOM CANDIDATES WILL END THE ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICAN UNI PARTY CANDIDATES PLANS TO PRIVITIZE SMH

MEDICAL FREDOM CANDIADTES WILL END ESTABLISHMENT UNI PARTY REPUBLICAN PLANS FOR TRANSGENDER SURGERY COMING TO SARASOTA

The SMH Board is the only race in Sarasota County, which has the potential to change the majority control of SMH to public spirited board of commissioners and not to those controled by the multimillion dollar special interests ESTABLISHMENT UNI PARTY REPUBLICAN candidates.

If the Medical Freedom candidates win, it will be national news, as the public will not see the establishment ESTABLISHMENT UNI PRTY REPUBLICAN candiadtes eventually privatizing SMH ---business as usual will end.

If Medical Freedom candidates win, the multimillion dollar special interests’ privatization of Lee County Hospital will not occur in Sarasota County.

  1. PRIVATIZATION

Recent takeover of Lee Health by UNI Party establishment Republicans

There are 67 counties in Florida. As of the start of this year, only two had a publicly elected hospital board; Sarasota & Lee counties-NO MORE. Lee Health voted to privatize their system in June, leaving SMH the lone hospital board elected by the people, as of this coming October.

Please note, basically, the Lee board with the enabling of the Legislature, voted to give a perhaps 15-Billion-dollar hospital system, owned by the citizens of Lee County, to private board of politicians & business people.

Governor DeSantis

For the last three years in a row, legislation to facilitate privatizing public hospitals was passed in Tallahassee. Privatization legislation was passed by both houses and signed by Governor Ron DeSantis specific to Lee Health for 2023. They proceeded to vote to privatize themselves in June 2024, to be effective in October 2024.

The publicly elected board Lee County board that voted for that were majority establishment UNI PARTY Republicans. Note, the Lee County board are technically non-partisan.

THE TIMELINE OF LEE COUNTY HOSPITAL TAKEOVER

The timeline of privatization of Lee Health County public hospitals by muti million-dollar ESTABLISHMENT UNI PARTY REPUBLICANS:

2022 bill easily passing both the FL House and Senate, but vetoed by the governor;

2023 Lee Health bill quietly getting signed into law, ultimately blindsiding the public, and with no referendum requirement;

2024 bill passing the FL House; Legislation was put through in 2024 that passed one house. Tallahassee obviously has an appetite for privatizing public hospitals (most public hospital systems have appointed boards, not publicly elected like Sarasota County).

IS SMH CEO LOOKING FOR NO MORE PUBLIC SCRUTINY?

The CEO of Sarasota Memorial makes around $2.2 million a year with incentive pay. If you were making $2.2 million, would you want to be working for a hospital board where the board members make nothing and on any given day five of them could decide to fire you? Do you think you may be crafty enough to get out from under the supervision of a board elected by the people?

UNI PARTY ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS VOTE AGAINST MEDICAL FIRST PROPOSED END OF ANY PRIVATAZTION OF SMH

Rohe

On July 23, 2024, hospital board member Vic Rohe made a motion as follows: "I move that a standing rule be added to the Sarasota County Hospital Board Standing Rules requiring that;

“Any action which may result in the conversion of the Sarasota County Public Hospital District to a non-profit entity and/or do away with the publicly elected board require a unanimous vote of the board for passage".

The purpose was to make it more difficult to privatize our hospital system. Not one other member of the board supported that, including Sharon Wetzler DePeters and Sarah Lodge who are running for reelection.

So why do they NOT want it to be more difficult to Privatize? Could it be that, regardless of their statements to the contrary, that their goal is to take the system away from the public and give it to private interests, as is being done in Lee County?

Dr. Rosenwasser

Another Freedom Health candidate, who has voice strong oppisition to the privitazation of SMH is Timzin Rosenwasser, a physician with dual board certifications in internal medicine and dermatology, was a staff physician in the Emergency Room at St. Louis Regional Medical Center.

Roseenwasser has practiced dermatology in Indiana, New Hampshire and Florida. She is also the current treasurer and a past president of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, a nationwide association founded in 1943 which has a motto of "Omnia pro Aegroto" which means "All for the Patient."

UNI PARTY ESTABLISHENT REPUBLICANS OUT TO BUY ELECTION

Why is big money putting more than a quarter of million dollars into a race where normally chump change is spent by candidates?

Basically, this is just another election that the Establishment UNI PARTY REPUBLICANS 2 has decided to buy. Nationally, one sixth of the US economy is now going to health care. That's a huge ball of money that is being chased by very big players. The quality of your health care is not on their radar. Their profits are. it2

  1. TRANSGENDER SURGERY ON CHILDREN

UNI PARTY ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE REFUSES TO TAKE ON RADICAL LEFT-WING DEMOCRAT MANDATES

Sarah Lodge, current board chair running for reelection in Hospital Board Central District, Seat 1 crystallized that position when asked at the Tiger Bay hospital board panel on June 20, in recorded comments:

Answer Sarah Lodge: "100% that is between a doctor and a patient and I said this multiple times today and always. Your relationship with your physician is incredibly important. You have certain patients that want certain things. Everybody is unique and I think that comes back to the patient and the doctor, the physician's relationship. I want to be clear, it's not the job of the board to control what is going on as far as medicine that is being approved. We have a Medical Executive committee that is in place for that, and that is not the role of a board member."

She addressed this comment and had the opportunity to correct it in her August 13 Letter to the Observer, but did not, so it is on record that she will not protect minors from same sex surgery.

The problem is that it’s becoming obvious to anyone who’s paying attention that the protection of the board is ultimately going to be needed to stop the inevitable reversal of Florida’s ban on sex change surgery for minors.ure?

Judge Hinkle

In June, federal Senior Judge Robert Hinkle, a Bill Clinton appointee, struck down Florida’s law protecting against sex-reassignment medication being provided to children, ruling that protection unconstitutional. The case mentioned examples of children he believed warranted sex-reassignment medication:.”

“Gavin (8-year-old biological girl) is terrified of puberty because he does not want to develop female characteristics. If Gavin is unable to receive treatment, his mental health will deteriorate..” According to the judge, “gender identity is real” and prior case law establishes that “prohibiting or impeding individuals from pursuing their transgender identities is not a legitimate state interest”.T1

Two very different philosophies are lining up betwee the different slates. The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, encapsulates the differences, asking their members if doctors exist: “To serve the state? Or to serve our patients? That is the question we will increasingly face as government forces its power into every nook and cranny of our professional lives.”

Cooper has made it clear that medical oversight is not a role he plans to embrace at all, stating regularly; “The business of the board is the business of the hospital, and not the practice of medicine.”

Cooper is the same individual, who joined together with UNI PARTY Democrat Sarasota City Commissioners Hagen Brody and Suzanne Atwell, Republican UNI PARTY Sarasota County Commisioner Paul Caragiulo and Argus E.D. Christine Robinson along with the 68 CONVICTED felon Michael Barfeld to turn City Hall over to the Argus Foundation multi million dollar developers.

MEDICAL FREEDOM CANDIDATES ASK WHY DID 577 PATIENTS DIE OF COVID

Medical Freedom SMH Board candidate Tanya Parus and family

The Medical Freedom slate threatens Cooper plan that medical oversight is not a role he plans to embrace. Dr. Stephen Guffanti and Tanya Parus have made it clear that their opinions if elected to the board will depart from the administrations, when it comes to patient care complaints.

Their past comments to the board have pushed for an independent investigation into exactly why 577 patients died of COVID—the equivalent of a Boeing 747 filled to capacity and crash landing with no survivors.

Why the hospital needed to bring in refrigerator trucks to house the bodies they feared would spill over from the morgue, when local physicians’ early treatment protocols were so successful that they weren’t losing a single patient to COVID.

One family’s story gives a clue because, Bryan McKeel was failing when the hospital limited him to their protocol and refused to the family’s request for ivermectin. The family’s attorney forced the hospital’s hand, allowing Byan to receive a few doses of ivermectin.

Bryan rebounded, but the hospital still cut him off after a few doses, telling his wife: “We don’t do [ivermectin] here” with no medical justification for denying the off-label use of an FDA approved medicine—common practice for drugs that are not subject to a federal smear campaign. Bryan died in SMH.
