The Barker endorement must have been written by an individual, who buried how the self-proclaimed Bishop Henry Porters groomed children for his sexual pleasure, while molesting and raping them for 40 years blocks away from the SHT headquarters in Downtown Sarasota.
The SHT endorsement starts out by saying Barker is “ A former longtime school psychologist.” That "longtime school psychologist" Barker was a “long-time school psychologist” for four years and the last Barker school psychologist Barker "gig" was a part time gig in 2014—eight years ago.

SHT article made no mention of Barker’s opponent, Karen Rose has for 27 years, before retiring in 2018 having a proven record as a Leader of A+ Schools. (Rose’s resume is listed below).
In the SHT thick as a brick endorsement of Barker, the SHT correctly stated “that the (Sarasota County School) Board is still a playground for meaningless displays of political theater.”
