It was quite amusing, but yet disturbing in attending a Sarasota School Board meeting on 10/21/2023 to observe how obvious it is that "liberal" Democrats have no idea they have jumped in bed with the three RINO School Board members, who are in bed with "Pat Neal and his "Pay to Play" developers UNI Party.
These political novices, who are recent arrivals in the area are unfortunatly too political ignorant to understand, as they attack those who they called conservative Republican School Board members (Tom Enos, Robyn Marinelli and Karen Rose-Miller) are part of establishment UNI Party. A Party, which includes a local REC managed by Jack Brill, Bob Waechter and the rest of Pat Neal "Pay to Play" flunkies, who control the political and financial power in Sarasota.

Being the self-proclaimed "best and brightest", these folks who recently parachuted into Sarasota have not a clue that the local DEC under former Chairwomen Rita Farrendino, Christine Jennings, Joanne DeVries and now Daniel Kuether are part of a UNI Party that has had no problem jumping in bed with the 12-year ex Democrat State Sentator Pat Neal and his fellow "Pay to Play" developers.
They are making fools of themselves at School Board meetings pushing the UNI Party agenda, controlled by Neal and his cronies. Prime example is a group called SAVE OUR SCHOOLS (SOS).
For example, these "liberal" political neophytes have made fools of themselves in failing to understand they have joined together with Tom "Bijou" Edwards, Marinelli and Rose-Miller to select a Sarasota County School Board Superintendent that "Pay to Play" developers have in their pockets. The same "Pay to Play" developers, who held a fundraiser for Governor Ron DeSantis at the Concession Golf Club in Bradenton a week ago.

UNI PARTY TOOK DOWN VERMILLION PROPOSAL
What is so comical and exemplifies these recently arrived "liberal" Democrats living in la la land is that they believed they packing the hall at recent school board meetings, they forced Enos and Marinelli to join Edwards to take down the Vermillion proposal of School Board member Bridget Zeigler.
The proposal by fellow School Board member Ziegler was to begin to put an end to Edwards working from the inside to push a LGBTQ WOKE agenda, which was voted down in the 2022 School Board election. Being the pro LGBTQ movement has major support within the UNI Party and they have no problem Edwards pushing the LGBTQ agenda from the inside, it was a slam dunk Enos and Marinelli voted with Edwards.

A UNI Party that is in bed with the Brill/Waechter led local REC and Rexi Jerde and her band of local multimillion dollar Foundations, who control the political and financial power in Sarasota.

These local political neophytes believe they filling the hall at the School Board meetings forced Enos and Marinelli to vote down the Vermillion proposal and Marinelli and Rose-Miler to join "Bijou" Edwards to select Terrance Connor to be the Sarasota County School Superintendent.
These left wing liberal political radicals have no clue they are being used by "Bijou" Edwards and LGBTQ political operatives to push their agenda, which is part of the local UNI Party agenda.
If they would have taken the time when they arrived in Sarasota to research how a once vibrant political system in a very Progressive election process that was based on neighborhood preservation had elected the most qualified candidates be they Democrat or Republican was destroyed.

Eddie stated, "As a Christian and a child of God, I believe in God’s definition of marriage, as a holy covenant ordained by God between a man and a woman, and that life begins at conception. Accordingly, I personally disapprove of women making the decision to terminate their own pregnancy."

After making that statement, Eddie was told by a LGBTQ political operative, Gabriel Hament that her political career was finished. Ken Shelin, co-chair of Equality Florida asked for her resignation. Eddie did not run for re-election.

A FOR SALE sign, which has resulted in one New York City developer stating in all the years doing development projects throughout the country, the corruption he has encountered in Sarasota is the "WORSE."

Edwards has become the face of the UNI Party at the School Board, as Enos, Marinillini and Rose-Miller having turned their backs on the America First movement that elected them have now jumped in bed with Edwards and the local UNI Party.

Vouchers continued to be issued to the school with NO investiagation of what went on at the school for years. From 2019-2021, while Vice Chairman of the DEC, Kuether was the real estate liaison for Jensen's Schroeder-Manatee, which is the master developer of Lakewood Ranch.

At a recent School Board meeting, Edwards became unhinged, as he targeted and verbally attacked a Christian woman sitting in the audience, as his re-election campaign treasurer proceeded to ridicule her during his time at the podium referring to her as the "church lady."
