IN 2022 THE SARASOTA COUNTY COMMISSION RACE BETWEEN ATKINS AND SMITH WILL DECIDE IF NEAL AND HIS WHITE JUNTA CAN DENY A BLACK MAN TO SERVE ON THE SARASOTA COUNTY COMMISSION

ATKINS IS BEYOND A DOUBT THE MOST QUALIFIED TO BE ELECTED SARASOTA COUNTY COMMISSIONER IN 2022 OR ANY OTHER YEAR

Atkins

Fredd Atkins's campaign for the Sarasota County Commission will decide if Pat Neal's "Pay to Play"gangster developers will once again deny a Black man like Atkins from serving on the Sarasota County Commission, as they did in 2020 and tried to do once again in 2021.

Smith

Neal's JUNTA have put up Mark Smith, who is their long-time lackey to defeat Atkins in 2022.

There are two Blacks in the back of the recent photo of employees at Neal Communities

Neal not only has problems with Blacks on the Sarasota County Commission, Neal seems to have a problem hiring Blacks at his Neal Communities operation in Lakewood Ranch.

Anderson

It might be appropriate that Sarasota Herald investagitive reporter Zac Anerson take a break in chasing down Proud Boys at the Hollows and take a trip up to Lakewood Ranch. Anderson might want to check out how many minorities Neal, who is Southwest Florida's leading developer has hired.

Neal and his "Pay to Play" gangster developer cronies are no different than the folks in the City of Sarasota, who back in the day kept Blacks from being part of the Sarasota City Commission.

Atkins's campaign for the Sarasota County Commission will also decide if the social culture elite who control the political and financial power only promote Blacks who push their social agenda.

The social cultural elite who controls the political and financial power in Sarasota for years have only promoted Black leaders who go along to get along with the white establishment.

One of those who is not a favorite of the go along to get along cultural social elite is Atkins. Atkins is not one of those Blacks, who can be seen being wined and dined by the social cultural elite at social events catered by Michael Klauber at his Michaels on East establishment.

Waechter with then Sarasota County Commissioner Mason

Atkins is not a Carolyn "Second the Motion" Mason who turned Republican with an understanding to Neal's political operative Bob Waechter. That understanding was that Mason, as a Sarasota County Commissioner would "Second the Motion" every time Neal and his JUNTA sought approval for their developments.

Atkins is not a favorite of Neal and his small group of "Pay to Play" developer2021, who has local politicians, stuffed in their pockets from local Judges down to Charter Review members.

Atkins is not one of those handpicked JUNTA'S lackeys' candidates, who make the necessary
trip up to Neal's office in Lakewood Ranch kissing his ring to gain Neal's approval
to run for the County Commission.

ATKINS BRINGS A RACIAL DIVERSE /BI-PARTISIAN GOOD GOVERNMENT APPROACH TO THE SARASOTA COUNTY COMMISSION

Fredd Atkins’ story is a testament to the power that citizens have to shake up institutional systems while working together in a bi-partisan and racial diverse good government approach to County Government .

THIS IS THE TYPE OF DIVERSITY ATKINS CAN BRING TO SARASOTA THAT NEAL AND HIS GANGSTER DEVELOPERS HAVE THEIR HANDPICKED CANDIDATE SMITH TO DENY

IN 2020 THE RACIST WAECHTER REDISTRICTNG MAP DENIED ATKINS FROM RUNNING FOR THE SARASOTA COUNTY
COMMISSION AND BRINGING DIVERSITY TO SARASOTA COUNTY GOVERNMENT

Bob Waechter, who is the political operative for "Pay to Play" gangster developer Neal, tried in 2020 to hide behind a mask to create a map that disenfranchised Atkins and over 8,000 other African American voters in Sarasota.

The Waechter map deprived Atkins to become the first Black to serve on the Sarasota County Commission not in the pocket of the Neal's lily-hite JUNTA.

Even after Waechter's mask was taken off by Sarasota Herald Tribune reporter Zac Anderson, who found Waechter hiding behind a fictitious name of Adam Smith, the disenfranchising of over 8,000 Blacks including Atkins continued to move forward.

Moran/Detert/Maio

THE RACISTWAECHTER MAP APPROVED BY NEAL'S LACKEYS DETER/MAIO/MORAN/ DISENFRANCHISED ATKINS AND 8,000 BLACK VOTERS

At the County Commission meeting, Sarasota County Commissioners, Nancy Detert, Al Maio and Mike Moran took Sarasota back to the days when local African Americans like Atkins were disenfranchised as voters by adopting a map submitted by the convicted criminal for voter fraud, Bob Waechter.

WAECHTER PLAN DISENFRANCHISED THOUSANDS OF AFRICAN AMERICAN VOTERS

The Sarasota County Commission voted 3-2 to accept the Waechter map which disenfranchised Atkins and thousands of other African America voters by removing them from the County Commission District 1 race in 2020. (Commissioners Christian
Ziegler and Charles Hines voted against the Waechter map).

The County Commission trio of Detert, Maio and Moran also voted for the Waechter map to take out Atkins, who was the announced candidate for the District 1 County Commission.

OBVIOUS CLEAR-CUT OBSERVATIONS OF SARASOTA'S DARK PAST WERE REVISITED IN 2020

What happened at a Sarasota County Commission meeting in 2020, was not like it was back in the in the deep South days of our country, which included Sarasota, when racists operated behind masks. In 2020, Sarasota County Commissioners Detert, Maio and Moran gave the valid perception that the masks were taken off and the Sarasota community had once again been identified as racists.

SEIDMAN: WAECHTER MAP ELIMINATES ATKINS AND DISENFRANCHISES AFRICAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY

  1. After the vote Sarasota Herald Tribune columnist Carrie Sideman wrote, "Even if
by appearance alone, it (Waechter Map) echoes historical racial injustices and
black voter suppression and sends a clear message to the neighborhood that,
once again, the white majority controls its fate."

SEIDMAN:WAECHTER MAP SLAP IN FACE OF AFRICAN AMERICANS

Seiedman continued, "Adopting a map like this (Waechter Map) one wouldn’t be
interpreted as yet another slap in the face of these constituents." Is it
any wonder why the Newtown community has long had difficulty trusting the
Sarasota establishment? And is there any doubt that fate."

SEIDMAN CALLS INTO QUESTION DETER AND MAIO FLAWED ACTIONS

Seidman added," Making the community hardest hit by this precipitous redrawing of lines one that has long suffered inequities and disenfranchisement represents a step backward in any progress we’ve made toward atoning for the injustices of the past.

CULVERHOUSE: WAECHTER MAP SHOULD BEMATTER FOR STATES ATTORNEY OR U.S ATTORNEY"

Local long time Palmer Ranch developer, Hugh Culverhouse Jr. stated, "This
Waechter Plan should be a matter for the State Attorney or the U.S.
Attorney.......the quick acceptance of a criminal's map that eliminates Blacks
is criminal within itself. It is not the politics; it is the conspiracy and
criminal action to favor certain commissioners in an election that is
important."

CULVERHOUSE: WAECHTER PLAN PAINTS SARASOTA AS MEAN-SPIRITED/RACISTAND TO BE A PLACE TO AVOID"

Culverhouse described the actions of Deter, Maio and Moran with these words: "It (the Waechter Plan) paints Sarasota as a mean-spirited, racist town, a place to avoid. A town with a no welcoming mat, but a noose and a burning cross."

Culverhouse led a $900,000 lawsuit filed in federal court in Tampa accused Sarasota County of violating the U.S. Constitution and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 by shifting the boundaries of County Commissioner Mike Moran’s District 1.U.S. Judge William Jung rejected the effort---"that the main driver of this was . . simple political gerrymandering and ‘hardball’ partisan incumbent protection," Jung wrote.

How does it not qualify as blatant racism to move thousands of African American voters and the announced African American candidate Fredd Atkins out of District 1, which deprives thousands of African Americans of their vote and prohibits Atkins from running in 2020 against the Waechter/Neal handpicked candidate, Mike Moran?

Bentley

IN 2021 NEAL AND WAECHTER'S LACKEY ATTORNEY MORGAN BENTLEY ATTEMPTED TO DENY ATKINS TO RUN FOR COUNTY COMMISSION IN 2021

It is now two year later and despite Waechter's attorney Morgan Bentley and his associate attorney Brian Goodrich attempting to draw up two maps to take out Atkins and African
Americans for the 2021 County Commission, Atkins prevailed in the Democratic primary.

Atkins will now face Mark Smith on 11/8/22 to become the first non-token African American to be a Sarasota County Commission.

IN 2022 ATKINS WON DEMOCRAT PRIMARY FOR SARASOTA COUNTY COMMISSION DISTRICT 2 DESPITE EFFORDS TO BAN HIM AND BEING OUT SPENT

In winning the Democrat primary for the Sarasota County Commission, Atkins won despite being significantly outspent. Atkins said that just goes to show community history means more than money in district-level races.

"You cannot buy respect. You can’t buy tradition. You can’t buy a history of a man who has been consistently and persistently fighting for your way of life,” Atkins said.
“That’s where we are. We have lived this. We have been disinherited all of our
history in Sarasota County.

In the campaign for the District 2 Sarasota County Commission between Atkins and Smith there is no doubt to any logical person who follows this campaign that Atkins is the most qualified to represent Sarasota County residents.

ATKINS IS BEYOND A DOUBT THE MOST QUALIFIED TO BE ELECTED SARASOTA COUNTY COMMISSIONER IN 2022 OR ANY OTHER YEAR

There isno doubt that Atkins is the most qualified to be the next Sarasota County
Commissioner in District 2. Atkins having served on the Sarasota City
Commission for eighteen years and as the mayor for ten years,

Atkins during those 18 years understands how government works. Atkins understands the bi-partisan effort it takes to ensure a better quality of life for ALL people in the Sarasota community.

As fiscal, growth and social issues threaten the very heart and core of Sarasota,
Atkins is the most qualified person to lead us in the right direction, while
protecting the character of Sarasota that brought us here in the first place.

Atkins's decades of work on different community and county and city boards has made him
an expert on Sarasota issues. Atkins has as much if not more experience in city
and county government than anyone on the commission right now.

Atkins is long time civil servant, who knows what is necessary to preserve the county's
neighborhoods, businesses and tourism interests.

Smith is a no name Siesta Key architect, who was brought into the County Commission race
to carry water for Neal and his "Pay to Play" gangster developers. Smith
will be just another flunky for Neal's JUNTA on the Sarasota County Commission.

Benderson's Promenade & proposed hotels on Siesta Key

If you like Gary Kompothecras hotels on Siest Key--you will like Mark Smith; If you like Randy Benderson's Promenade Project on Stickney Point -- you will like Mark Smith; If you like Rex Jensen's Miakka developments -- you will like Mark Smith, if you like Carlos Beruff Long Bar Pointe development -- you will like Smith.

Smith is being handled by the usual Neal led JUNTA operatives. Those operatives are
Waechter, longtime Neal political hit man Mac Stevenson and Neal's bag man in Tallahassee
Stafford Jones.

The trio will be attempting to turn an architect into another Neal flunky on the Sarasota
County Commission. Smith has been told go to some forums and Waechter,
Stevenson and Jones will make you a Sarasota County Commissioner.

WAECHTER A PILLAR OF NEAL/BERUFF/BENDERSON CORRUPT POLITICAL SYSTEM

Waechter is the three time arrested criminal, who was once arrested for political fraud.
Waechter has put together a Sarasota County Commission gerrymander redistricting
map in 2011 for the JUNTA. The other gerrymandering redistricting map was the racist map that took out Atkins and 8,000 other Blacks in the 2020 election.

Waechter has left a trail of outrageous lies, manipulating his way into becoming a pillar of a corrupt political system financed by multimillionaire developers like Neal, Beruff, Benderson and a few others; who stuff judges, sheriffs, the states attorney, county commissioners and just about every other politician in the area into their pockets

broken image

Stevenson with Fla. State Senate leader Bill Galvano when he was a "Top Gun" operative

Stevenson was a "Top Gun" political operative in the area until his big chance in being a big-
league political operative ended in his involvement in Adam Putnam's loss to
now Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Anthony Pedicine has now replaced Stevenson as Neal "top gun" in Sarasota and
Carlos's Beruff "top gun" in Manatee." Stevenson is just another minor league political operative working with Neal's lackeys like Smith.

broken image

Jones

Jones has replaced Eric Robinson as the bag man for Neal and his JUNTA moving dirty dark
money for their lackeys like Smith. Jones also put Stevenson's recent hit pieces out on Hagen Brody, Dan Lobeck and Lourdes Ramirz.

Slapp/Doherty at GCBX Dinner with aging political hacks--Nancy Detert & Mike Bennett

Fund raising calls for Smith will be for $500 and $1,000 contributions out Neal Community's office in Lakewood Ranch and from Mary Slapp Doherty, who is the Executive
Director of Gulf Coast Builders Exchange (GCBX).

Neal's JUNTA, who are today's version of a anti bellum Plantation owners are once again trying to defeat Atkins as they did with Lourdes Ramirez in the Republican primary with
$500 and $1,000 contributions to Smith.

ATKINS GRASSROOTS CAMPAIGN VS. SMITH'S JUNTA DONOR CAMPAIGN

For example, the first two campaign finance reports in Smith' race against Atkins sees Smith
with $22,225 in contributions from 23 contributors. Contrast that with Atkins
grassroots campaign that sees Atkins's two campaign finance reports with
$21,790 from 158 contributors.

SMITH LONG TIME NEAL'S JUNTA LACKEY.

Smith goes back in 2010 being a Neal JUNTA flunky when Sarasota County Commissioner Nora Patterson tried to pull away from the JUNTA and start hugging trees for the
tree hungers. The JUNTA led by Gary Kompothecras and Henry Rodriquez did not go
for that and proceeded to put up Smith to take out Patterson.

broken image

John and Nora Patterson

The Smith campaign came to an end when long time Siesta Key business partner of Attorney John Patterson (Nora's husband) and  Waechter set up a meeting for Patterson to kiss a couple of rings in Downtown Sarasota at Caragiulo's restaurant on Palm Avenue.

Patterson promised not to kiss no more tress and Smith was told go back to being an architect. The Junta told Smith don't call us; we will call you if we need you to carry some water for us, which they now have.

They put up Smith against Lourdes Ramirez in the Republican Primary and now against Atkins in the November 8th final election for the Sarasota County Commission.

Can Neal and his JUNTA stuff another CountyCommission who slips nicely into the JUNTA's pockets by passing any projec tNeal and his JUNTA cronies present to the Commission?

It is way past time that Sarasota County government has a bi-partisan bi-racial good government approach that is not controlled by a group of good old white guys headed by "Pay to Play" gangster developer Pat Neal.

ATKINS IS BEYOND A DOUBT MOST QUALIFIED TO BE ELECTED A SARASOTA COUNTY COMMISSIONER IN 2022 OR ANY OTHER YEAR
