Hyde, who was last seen licking his wounds after losing to U.S Congressman Vern Buchanan came out at a recent Manatee County Commission calling out Mast. Hyde in essence called out Mast, as just another Beruff flunky and putting him in charge of the clown show Beruff has created with his handpicked Commission will not change the chaos on the Commission.
HYDE A LIGHTING ROD FOR CONTROVERSY
Hyde has been a lightning rod for controversy of his own in his recent unsuccessful race against Buchanan for the U.S District 16 seat on the House of Representatives — a seat that represents Manatee County and southern parts of Hillsborough County.
Local political observers may look at Hyde and discount him politically because he lost to U.S Congressman Vern Buchanan by large numbers, but those same political observers cannot count out his strong appeal to local conservatives.

Hyde is not one of those phony conservative politicians Anthony Pedicini needs to wrap a flag around, put a MAGA hat on his head and a Bible in his hands.
Hyde is the real deal conservative. Hyde is also one of the rare conservative politicians that has no problem calling out RINO developers like Beruff, Neal or other developers, who have stuffed local politicians in their pockets.
Hyde stated putting Mast in charge of running Manatee County is like putting the fox in charge of running the chicken coup. No doubt to anyone, who can chew gum and walk at the same time knows what that means; Mast would be Beruff’s fox running a chicken coup--a.k.a the Manatee County Commission.

It did not matter that Coryea was running Manatee County in a professional efficient manner back in 2020. Coryea was not sucking up to the gangster from Miami and Beruff pushed her out the door.
Beruff, who is from Miami brought his Miami gangster culture with him and when a couple of Manatee Commissioners and Coryea did not kiss up to the macho man, Beruff brought in a Ybor City political operative to take them out like a gangster, like Beruff takes out politicians.
That Tampa/Ybor political consultant was Pedicini, who wrapped a flag around six losers off the streets of Manatee and another loser on the Commission, Vanessa Baugh to create what has turned into look -a-like South America banana Republic.
