DeSANTIS APPOINTMENT OF RAINFORD THE WATER BOY OF BRILL AND ZIEGLER EXPOSES REC AND RPOF LEADERSHIP
A BRILL/ZIEGLER WATERBOY RAINFORD TO TAKE ON A THREE TIME ELECTED SARASOTA COUNTY SHERIFF KNIGHT
In a bizarre political move, Florida Republican Party of Florida Chairman Christian (RPOF) Ziegler teamed up with Sarasota County Republican Executive Committee (REC) Chairman Jack Brill to have Governor Ron DeSantis appoint their local flunky REC “Waterboy Neal Rainford” to the District 3 Sarasota County Commission.

Brill and Ziegler handpicked choice was also anointed by the mouthpiece of the local REC, Rod Thomson to replace the recently deceased Sarasota County Commissioner, Nancy Detert. The three political brain-dead leaders of the REC and RPOF anointed Rainford, who doesn’t even live in District he is to represent.
CARPETBAGGER RAINFORD HAS MOVED FROM RURAL SARASOTA COUNTY TO CITY OF VENICE
The carpetbagger in explaining why he chose District 3 instead of launching a bid to replace Mike Moran in District 1 needs to find a better answer than, "he and his wife love Venice and want to buy a home on the island of Venice and Venice has a wide selection of restaurants that is perfect for a household like his, as he always tunes into the Food Network."
Kind of a strang answer for the Brill and Ziegler, Waterboy in that on 12/18/2021 the Rainfords' bought a home on a five acre plot in rural northeast Sarasota County for $842,000. So less than a year a half later the carpetbagger Rainford would rather live in in a urban setting with a wide selection of restaurants he finds on the Food Network.
RAINFORD THE FOX GUARDING THE CHICKEN COUP
The selection of Rainford is outrageous, being that the major qualification of this “Waterboy” of Brill and Ziegler is that Rainford works for Mullet's Aluminum
Products, which is one one of the largest manufacturers of architectural aluminum products in the Southeastern United States. How many $millions does Mullet make servicing "Pay to Play" developers like Pat Neal and his cronies coming before the Sarasota County Commission for development projects .
The only other qualifications Rainford has to speak of is being appointed to the Sarasota County Planning Board and elected to Charter Review Board, which meets only three times a year.
Rainford’s ticket also got ORGINALLY punched for being a member of Neal’s "Pay to Play" organizations such as, the Associated Builders and Contractors, the Manatee-Sarasota Building Industry Association and the Sarasota-Manatee Area Manufacturers Association.
It is almost laughable that these two leaders of the local REC and the RPOF along with Thomson choose Rainford over three-time elected Sarasota County Sherriff and longtime resident of District 3, Tom Knight.
In addition not to appoint Alica Martinez Hopper who is a Hispanic woman candidate and member of America First grassroots activists, who took on the left wing radicals in Minnsota before moving to Sarasota with her former Marine husband and two children. Martinez Hopper was a perfect choice for DeSantis, who velifies left wing radicals.
Instead of DeSantis pushing a law-and-order agenda and appointing a three-time elected Sarasota County Sheriff, Tom Knight--DeSantis picks Brill and Ziegler’s “Waterboy Rainford."
Instead of picking a local grassroots activist and Hispanic woman to replace Detert, Brill and Ziegler’s lackey Rainford was chosen over a Moms for America and American First candidate for the Sarasota County Commission, Alicia Jimenez Hopper.
Neal
No law-and-order candidate, woman or a Hispanic for Brill and Ziegler, just another good ole white boy handpicked with the ORGINAL approval of local developer Pat Neal.
Unfortunately for DeSantis, Brill, Thomson and Ziegler their plan to put their Waterboy on the Commission has sprung a major leak.
KNIGHT WILL TAKE ON RAINFORD
For example, Knight has announced he will be taking on the carpet bagger Rainford with this announcement to his friends and supporters:
"Just two weeks ago I opened my campaign and launched my bid to become the next Sarasota County commissioner representing district 3, which I have considered to be my home since my family moved to Venice in 1973. From the day I filed, my team and I have been humbled by the outpouring of support from friends, neighbors, colleagues, elected officials and constituents not only in our community, but from throughout Sarasota County."
Equally unfortunate for DeSantis, Brill, Thomson and Ziegler, it has been become apparent to Neal, Carlos Beruff, Randy Benderson and Rex Jensen, who orginally went along with the political deranged appointment of Rainford, now are dumping Rainford and getting behind the candidacy of Knight.
How does any political operative pick a carpetbagger whose political experience consists of being appointed to the Sarasota County Planning Board and elected to the Sarasota Charter Review instead of a three-time elected Sarasota County Sheriff, who managed budget exceeding over $120 million during his 12 year tenure at the Sheriff's office?
Enos and Marinelli
This brainless political blunder by Brill and Ziegler comes on the heels of their handpicked choose of Tim Enos and Robyn Marinelli to serve on the Sarasota County School Board.

That decision has seen Enos, Marinelli joining with another RINO Karen Rose and DINO, Tom Edwards in taking control of the School Board.
Ziegler whose fingerprints are all over the Enos and Marinelli decision and the appointment of the “Waterboy” Rainford denies his fingerprints all over another decision that would expose this so called conservative RPOF leader Ziegler, as just another go along to get along conservative not ready for prime time.
THE LOCAL REC ESTABLISHMENT LEADERSHIP HAVING LUNCH AT THE GOVERNOR'S MANSION
For example, a luncheon put on by the First Lady of Florida Casey DeSantis after the appointment of Rainford to replace Detert, which saw not one membeer of the local REC grassroots activists that led to Repubican victories in the 2022 election cycle.

At the luncheon at the Governor’s mansion in Tallahassee was a gaggle of RINO, which included Brill, Rainford, the mouthpiece of the local REC Rod Thomson and other handpicked flunkies of Brill. None involved with Connie Brunni’s ZEM grassroots activists that led to Republican victories in the 2022 election cycle.
These are more of America First grassroots activists who win election not those activists, who Thomson and Brill brought to lunch with DeSantis. They are not part of the Republican establishment dined by DeSantis.

Thomson is the same person breaking bread with Casey DeSantis, who made this statement about Brunni’s grassroots activists who spend hours on hours, days on days bringing home victory for Republicans in the 2022 elections, "There is a small number of carpers and whiners in our local party who seem intent on doing everything they can to undermine and sabotage the local GOP leadership."

Michelle Pozzie, who is an America First candidate running for the Florida House of Representatives answered Thomson with these comments: "To be clear Rod Thomson, there is no ‘small faction’ of the party hell bent on bringing down the Republican Party. As conservatives, we do not follow blindly, instead, we ask questions, demand accountability and hold ourselves to a higher standard- since we want to lead by example."
NO SHERIFF/NO GRASSROOTS ORGANIZERS ONLY BRILL AND FLUNKIES BREAKING BREAD WITH CASEY DeSANTIS
As Florida Governor Ron DeSantis traveled the country seeking the presidency of the United States his No. 1 political operative, Casey DeSantis on 6/23/23 opened up the Governor’s Mansion for a luncheon at the behest of Ziegler to the establishment leadership of the REC, and not one member of the grassroots activists at the table.

Instead of a Hispanic woman and an America First grassroots organizer breaking bread with Casey DeSantis, the “Waterboy of Brill and Thomson are breaking bread with Casey DeSantis.
Thomson with DeSantis as he states, "I ended up with a little private conversation with her after the lunch, which someone caught in a photo. Interesting."
If anyone has any doubts that DeSantis’ Presidential campaign has imploded, take a look at DeSantis taking the advice of Brill and Ziegler to appoint Rainford.
As for Rainford, who is the “Waterboy” of Brill, Thomson and Ziegler, this carpetbagger needs to put his tail leg between his legs and forget about moving into District 3 and taking on a three-time elected Sarasota County Sheriff and longtime resident of the District.
As for the Brill, Thomson and Ziegler leadership of the REC and RPOF in the upcoming critical 2024 election cycle, their leadership needs to be scrutinized by the rank and file, as they run their Waterboy against a three-time elected Sarasota County Sheriff.
