Local Republicans Divided

CONSERVATIVE TRUMP/DeSANTIS REPUBLICANS URGE  VOTE TO END RINO NEAL'S JUNTA OF PAY TO PLAY GANGSTER DEVELOPERS ON MARCH 8

Despite a false narrative put out by the local Sarasota County Republican Executive (REC) leadership, who are deep in the pockets of Pat Neal and his JUNTA of Gangster "Pay to Play" developers, there are leading local conservatives who are eager to see our local swamp drained.

These true conservative Trump/DeSantis Republicans are urging their fellow Republicans to vote 'no' on March 8.  They want to keep single member districts for county races.  A 'no' vote will ensure that the voter supported referendum sticks.

HUTCHINSON VOTING "NO" TO END SINGLE MEMBER DISTRICTS

Mike Hutchinson, who ran for the Sarasota County Commission in 2020 against Neal's handpicked candidate Mike Moran is among those who is adamant that single member districts should remain.  Hutchison was defeated by Moran, a candidate who was stuffed in Neal's Junta for another four years with hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions.

HAWKINS VOTING "NO" TO END SINGLE MEMBER DISTRICTS

Mark Hawkins, is a "true Republican Conservative" running in District 2 for county commission.  He is voting 'no' as well as he preps for the primary race against another of the Neal JUNTA's handpicked candidates, Joe Neunder.  Neunder has already raised over $130,000 in campaign contributions from RINO Neal and his JUNTA---FOLLOW THE MONEY.

RAMIREZ VOTING "NO" TO END SINGLE MEMBER DISTRICTS

Lourdes Ramirez, who twice lost to another handpicked Neal JUNTA candidate Al Maio is also coming out to push back and vote 'no'. For the last six years Maio has voted for every project  Neal and his "pay to play" developers put before him. Those numerous projects include the Benderson urban sprawl project at the corner of Stickney Point Road and US 41.  He has also supported hotel projects on Siesta Key, which will turn Siesta Key into another Miami Beach/Ft. Lauderdale.

ZOLLER VOTING 'NO' TO END SINGLE MEMBER DISTRICTS

Bill Zoller,  a long time Republican Conservative standing tall for years against Neal, Randy Benderson and other Junta "Pay to Play" developers, is another vocal supporter of Trump and DeSantis. Zoller is voting NO, wanting to keep Single Member Districts.

BAD FOR SARASOTA

The voters of Sarasota County need to understand that the only issue in voting YES OR NO in the amendment to retain Single Member District is all ABOUT THE MONEY.

Neal and his JUNTA'S efforts in taking down Single Member Districts are all about buying their handpicked Republican candidates to take down their Republican opponent in the  primary.

WIN THE PRIMARY AND WIN THE FINAL

As any local political operative or candidate knows--win the Republican Primary and you win the final in November.

Likewise, any local political operative or candidate knows--if you outspend your opponent in the Republican Party by huge amounts of money then typically you will win.  PAC money is funneled to handpicked candidates to stuff the mailboxes with flyers, put up thousands of political signs, and do expensive outreach across the county---FOLLOW THE MONEY.

Every single member of the present Sarasota County Commission has been handpicked by Neal and financed by hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions by the JUNTA.

What does buying bounty Commissioners get Neal and his Junta---look around Sarasota---millions and millions of dollars in development projects approved by the Commission with pennies coming from Neal and Junta for needed infrastructure. (Been out Fruitville road lately?)

DEMOCRATS WILL LOSE ELECTIONS WITH OR WITHOUT SINGLE MEMBER DISTRICTS

This is not a partisan fight, it is going on inside the Republican party. It has absolutely nothing to do with Democrats pushing Single Member District to win local elections. Democrats will lose elections with or without Single Member District.

Thanks to inept leadership running the local DEC, as exemplified by former DEC chairman Rita Ferrandino, local democrats don't stand much of a chance and will continue to lose elections. With or without Single Member District.

WHY REPEAL WHAT VOTERS HAVE ALREADY APPROVED?

Again, follow the money.  Single member districts enable candidates to focus on smaller pockets of voters and spend a correspondingly small amount to reach those voters.  It levels the playing field much more than the previous format. On the other hand,  if a candidate runs County wide, s/he needs far more money that if he or she runs in only one District.

Having unlimited funds for Junta handpicked candidates in County wide races makes it near impossible for anti-Junta Republican candidates with limited funds to defeat RINO Neal's JUNTA handpicked candidates in a County wide race.

This is why so many traditional, conservative local Republicans are eager to 'drain our local swamp' and vote NO to the upcoming amendment.  They want to level the playing field.  A yes vote on March 8 just turns back the clock to a compromised and corrupted system.

NEAL--A FORMER JIMMY CARTER DEMOCRAT

Ironically, Neal is a former Jimmy Carter Democrat who was a state Democrat legislator for 12 years before getting defeated by a Reagan Conservative Republican in 1986.

HAWKINS CAN BEAT NEUNDER IN DISTRIC 4 AND RAMIREZ CAN BEAT ZIEGLER IN DISTRICT 2

In district - wide races in County Commission Districts 2 and 4, Republican Lourdes Ramirez and Mark Hawkins can raise sufficient campaign funds to defeat their fellow Republicans Joe Neunder and Christian Ziegler. However, in a County-wide race Hawkins and Ramirez will have significant challenges in raising sufficient funds to defeat Neunder and Ziegler.

Neunder and Ziegler in a county -wide race will continue to be stuffed into the pocket of the developer UNTA for another four years with hundreds of thousands of dollars from various LLCs and PACs.

REPUBLICAN PARTY RIFT IS NOT ABOUT IDEALS IT'S ABOUT MONEY

True conservative Republicans are making big waves in the leadup to the March 8 ballot.  They are tired of special interests hijacking leadership and are coming together to vote 'no' to the repeal of Single Member District.
