LISTED BELOW ARE SOME OF THE COMMENTS OF THREE FEMALE CITY EMPLOYEES ON HAGEN BRODY'S TWO HOUR VULGAR/TOXIC/VIOLENT NEAR HOSTAGE HOLDING SITUATION 

BRODY "DOESN'T GIVE A SHIT" 

Brody told X on the phone that he ‘didn't give a shit’, and X told me what he said.....l had offered 12 noon to Brody (after Marlon's 11-12 meeting with the Vice Mayor), but Brody wasn't happy with that offer, because he had something else at that time. 

BRODY CALLS THORNBURG "FU**ING TALKING HEAD" 

He was calling Jan Thornburg names under his breath (but loud enough for me to hear) "fu**ing talking head" 

Brody told X on the phone that he ‘didn't give a shit’, and X told me what he said.....l had offered 12 noon to Brody (after Marlon's 11-12 meeting with the Vice Mayor), but Brody wasn't happy with that offer, because he had something else at that time. 

BRODY YELLING "WHERE'S MARLON?” 

So after X hung up, a little while later, Brody literally barged into our side door, very dramatically, with coffee in hand, YELLING in a very, very bullying, manner: WHERE'S MARLON? (very loud). 
 

I quickly said to him, as he was headed right for Marlon's office, "Marlon is on a Zoom with a City Manager from another state! But Brody proceeds to open Marlon's door very dramatically and yelled that he wanted to see him NOW" 

BRODY UNHAPPY WITH VAN WEZEL E.D BENSEL GETTING ALL THE CREDIT 

Brody stormed by us yelling something about Mary Bensel getting all the credit for the vaccination event and was unhappy that his video was not on the City FB page and Mary's were. He was yelling that the only reason she was there was to get the shot, and the whole event should be credited to him. 

BRODY "DEMANDS ANNUAL SALARIES OF BENZEL AND THORNBURG 

He was demanding to X to get the annual salaries of Bensel and (Jan) Thornburg.

When Marlon got off his Zoom, he stormed out of his office and approached Brody's office saying, "you do not talk to my staff like that". 

BRODY DEMANDS VIDEO BE TAKEN DOWN 

Brody was yelling back at Marlon that Jan didn't put his video on FB and he wanted Mary's REMOVED. So, I believe Jan took the video down, and put up a video of the mayor that was just a short clip. I showed it to Brody when he asked me if it had been done, but he was angry that it wasn't the right video of him. Then, he told me "never mind!" 

BRODY ON A RANT FOR TWO HOURS 

Basically, Brody was on a rant for about 2 hours at least. I felt very traumatized to say the least, I have heard Brody yell before, but it was in his office, and he was yelling at Marlon. 

“NEVER SEEN SUCH BEHAVIOR" 

I couldn't keep quiet. I turned to Brody and told him that I had worked for the city since 2006 in many different departments and I have NEVER seen such behavior. He had no response for me. He just walked away. 

"FELT LIKE A HOSTGE SITUATION 

This was not an "outburst". This was like a 2-hour situation that felt somewhat of a "hostage" situation. In hindsight, I am so upset with myself that I didn't get my handbag and walk out. 

BRODY "YELLING WOULD TURN TO VIOLENCE" 

I was very concerned that the yelling, which escalated and escalated, would turn to violence. 

This is only one employee’s report. Where is the public reporting on this widely known, 2-hour plus incident that included Brody’s raging demands (and violation of City Charter) for Thornburg to be fired?

This was not an outburst. This was like a 2-hour situation that felt somewhat of a hostage situation. Basically, the mayor was on a rant for about 2 hours at least. I couldn't keep quiet. I turned to the mayor and told him that I had worked for the city since 2006 in many different departments and I have NEVER seen such behavior. He had no response for me. He just walked away The Mayor was clenching his first and grunting in what I would describe as a rage. I felt very traumatized to say the least. This incident frightened me as I questioned whether the Mayor was in control of his emotions and actions, I had sleepless nights and knew that I would resign my position here at the City if this behavior continued. Mayor, Mayor! Calm down! This is not how you act in this office! This is disrespectful and unprofessional. Similar incidents had happened in the past but that this one was especially unsettling. he Mayor then clinched his fists and growled loudly and repeatedly answered in anger.
