THE LOCAL REC ESTABLISHMENT LEADERSHIP HAVING LUNCH AT THE GOVERNOR'S MANSION
As Florida Governor Ron DeSantis travels the country seeking the Presidency of the United States his No. 1 political operative, Casey DeSantis on 6/23/23 opened up the Governor’s Mansion for a luncheon with the establishment leadership of the Sarasota County Republican Executive Committee (REC), and not one member of the conservative grassroots activists at the table.
By the way, Governor DeSantis doesn't need to go to Texas or California to fly illegals to Martha Vineyard. All DeSantis needed to do is go to any development in Florida under construction and he could fill a bus load of illegals to fly to Martha Vineyard.
LINES DRAWN BETWEEN TRUMP AND DeSANATIS SUPPORTERS IN SARASOTA
It has now become quite evident with this luncheon that the lines have been drawn of where the leadership of the Sarasota County Republican Executive Committee (REC) and the grassroot activists of the REC stand in the upcoming Republican Party nomination for the Presidency of the United States between former President Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis.

For example, as the $90,000 mouthpiece of the local REC, Rod Thomson leads the leadership team of the local REC with a sit down with Governor Ron DeSantis NO. 1 political operative, Casey DeSantis, it is apparent this REC leadership team is in bed with their major financial supporter of the REC, which is the anti Trumpster---Pat Neal.

Neal is Governor DeSantis go-to-guy in the local area, who is a former Jimmy Carter Florida Democrat State Senator for 12 years before being defeated by a Regan Republican in 1986.
DeSantis’s go-to-guy is documented RINO, who has called former President Donald Trump among other damning statements, "Trump is an incredibly vulgar candidate who is leading our party off a cliff and I am dispirited with what I see every morning having to do with the Trump campaign.”
If there was any doubt that Neal and the DeSantis political team did not put together this luncheon at the Governor's Mansion, they are in the dark as is Zac Anderson of the Sarasota Herald Tribune, who is too busy trying to find Proud Boys and General Michael Flynn at the Hollows.
If Team DeSantis and Neal think bringing Thomson, Brill and his establishment lackeys to the Governor's Mansion to break break with Casey DeSantis is bringing on board grassroots activists, who win Republican primaries for DeSantis --think again.
These are the America First grassroots activists who win Republican primaries, not those who break bread in Tallahassee with the First Lady of the Governor of the Free State of Florida. They are all strong supporters of Trump in his seeking the Republican presidential nomination in 2024.
These are more of America First grassroots activists who win election not those Neal activists, who Thomson and Brill brought to lunch with DeSantis. They are not part of the Republican establishment dined by DeSantis.

This is a grassroots conservative activist leader Connie Brunni, who was not invited to the meet-up with DeSantis. Bunni wins election having grassroots activists knocking on doors, not by stuffing mail boxes with flyers bought with dirty dark PAC money from Nal and his cronies.
These Trump America First grassroots activist, which were not invitees to the DeSantis luncheon were part of a group of over 25,0000 staying through a thunderstorm in Sarasota to greet Trump at a rally in 2021.
Contrast that with Neal's establishment run REC Statesman of the Year award for Governor DeSantis in 2022, which Neal had to buy tickets for "freebies" to fill up a hotel ballroom.

Neal, no doubt made it clear to REC chairman Jack Brill, to allow Thomson to carry the message of the meet-up with Casey DeSantis instead of Brill, who is a failed businessman with a nasty aggressive behavior toward women. Thomson, not Brill was to have the one on one with Casey DeSantis. As Thomson stated, " I (Thomson) ended up with a little private conversation with her after the lunch, which someone caught in a photo. Interesting."
Thomson said he, "Also caught up with RPOF Executive Director Helen Aguirre Ferre" after breaking bread and chatting with DeSantis.
Accompanying Thomson from the REC were, Jack (John) Brill, Alice Rothbauer, Neil Rainford, Atticus Frank, Mark Frandsen, Leslie Williams, Matthew Soldano, Chris Albright, Robert Sissons, Joe Gerrin and Vickie Brill Keller.
They were chosen over 250 other members of the REC, who Thomson stated were, " a terrific team of people who do not get enough credit for all the work they do behind the scenes of the Republican Party.
WHERE ARE THE GRASSROOTS ACTIVISTS THAT DAYS ON END DURING THE 2022 ELECTION CYCLE IN THE HOT SUMMER HEAT BROUGH HOME VICTORY FOR GOVERNOR DeSANTIS?
Thomson is the same person breaking bread with DeSantis, who made this statement about grassroots activists who spend hours on on hours, days on days bringing home victory for Republicans in the 2022 elections, "There is a small number of carpers and whiners in our local party who seem intent on doing everything they can to undermine and sabotage the local GOP leadership."

Michelle Pozzie, who is an America First candidate running for the Florida House of Representatives answered Thomson with these comments: "To be clear Rod Thomson, there is no ‘small faction’ of the party hell bent on bringing down the Republican Party. As conservatives, we do not follow blindly, instead, we ask questions, demand accountability and hold ourselves to a higher standard- since we want to lead by example."

In a most bizarre incident, Brill has charged Republican activist Michael Zarzano of assaulting him for touching his arm and thrusting his buttocks into Brill's henchman, Mark Frandsen on 9/16/21 at the cost of thousands of taxpayer dollars and other public resources.
In addition, as Florida Governor Ron DeSantis travels the country seeking the Presidency of the United States his No.1 pollical operative, Casey DeSantis opened up the Governor’s Mansion for lunch for REC chairman Jack Brill, who was bailed out by Brunni's American Firist grassroots activists to elect the Governor DeSantis endorsed candidates for the Srassota County School Board.
Brill since becoming Chairman of REC had turned grassroots activites over to a door knocking company out of Las Vegas. For one campaign Brill paid out $40,000 to the Las Vegas firm.

Also, at the DeSantis luncheon for Neal group of flunkies was the Neal choice sent on to Governor DeSantis to suceed Nancy Detert, Neal Rainford. DeSantis chooses a RINO Neal establishment flunky candidate Rainford, who fits nicely in Neal's pocket.
The selection of Rainford is outrageous, being that the only qualifications he has to speak of is being a member of the Sarasota County Charter Review Board, which meets once a month and the recently elected Secretary of the REC.
Rainford, who doesn't live in Detert's district gets his ticket punched for being a member of "Pay to Play" Neal approved organizations such as, the Associated Builders and Contractors, the Manatee-Sarasota Building Industry Association and the Sarasota-Manatee Area Manufacturers Association.
Jimenez Hopper
Rainford was chosen by Neal over a Moms for America and American First candidate for the Sarasota County Commission, Alicia Jimenez Hopper. No woman or Hispanic for Neal or DeSantis, just another good ole white boy handpicked by Neal for the County Commissioner to be stuffed in his go-to-guy Neal's pockets.
The other reason the DeSantis's ran from a America First activist candidates for the County Commission is General Michael Flynn, who is a major America First supporter and a Trump supporter.

Flynn is a political threat to Neal and all those Neal REC lackeys attending that DeSantis luncheon. For example, Flynn and Alfie Oakes out of Naples in Collier County have organized and taken control of numerous REC throughout Florida in support of Trump. A major Flynn supporter, Brunni came within 15 voters of who Thomson calls "carpers and whiners" of taking over the REC last January.
Since moving into the bastion of Republican conservative grassroots organization in Southwest Florida, Flynn has got involved with the America First grassroots organizations. Flynn has become very active in the Florida political scene and beyond.
Flynn has become a major figure in leading a grassroots America First agenda in Florida, which Flynn calls; “conservative values that emphasizing religious freedom, family values and economic prosperity.”
